The Whisper Man by Alex North had me feeling spooky vibes and is a great balance of paranormal thriller, and crime mystery alike. For example, we have a town with a dark past, a grieving family that moves into a spooky house in that town, paranormal happenings, a serial killer locked behind bars, and a new missing child. It is quite a good mystery of who dunnit and who or what is terrifying the grieving boy. And the paranormal episodes will also raise the hairs on the back of your neck

I also enjoyed the twist and turns in this book and in my opinion, North wrote this book for the reader to be puzzled because it certainly was not predictable.
