This was one of my favorite thrillers & overall reads of 2019. I loved the storyline and felt it wasn’t one that has been overdone or predictable. I dislike when a book is overly obvious, and didn’t feel this one was that way at all. Highly recommend for thriller readers who feel they’ve “seen it all.” It definitely had a bit more of a creepy factor to it than books I tend to read. It will absolutely keep you turning the pages and may give you nightmares, too!
I also felt the book had good character development throughout and didn’t find myself ever confused on “who was who”. Overall, I recommended this to all my thriller loving friends. It was the perfect read before Halloween! I look forward to reading more books by Alex North.
