First, the cover is unique; I love the addition of the butterfly into a handprint, showing you that all is not going to be as it seems. It's clear that this story is going to be told through different perspectives, giving you a better opportunity to get to the truth. There's a detective, a father who has lost his wife, a son who is alone with the exception of an imaginary friend, and an abductor (or worse). In only a few short chapters, I'm already wondering how these stories are going to be connected. How is the story of a missing boy intertwine with the story of another lonely little boy? Why is the Whisper Man stalking and abducting children? And what happened to DI WIllis in the past that connects him to the Whisper Man? This one will definitely keep your interest, wanting to read just one more chapter!
