Multiple levels of high tension in play in just the first few chapters. The mixed point of view works to ratchet up the anxiety in each section, and cuts away before anything is resolved, so each section adds to the fear and suspense. I'm concerned with the outcome for so many characters right now! Really well done, I'm reminded of "The Lovely Bones" a bit. The cover is great abduction of a lovely childhood image - the butterfly, and I suspect there are terrifying transformations in store.
