I am typically not a huge fan of romance novels, but lately I've been trying to branch out and read more than your garden variety thriller, horror, and mystery novels. I picked up The Wedding Date and did a valiant attempt at branching out and reading. This one just wasn't for me.
I love a good steamy romance (think 50 shades of Grey, because I read those cover to cover as quickly as possible), but when steamy scenes are added that don't add value and just create some foggy mirrors, I have a hard time with it. This book isn't bad, it just isn't for me. If you love romance and have previously read Jasmine Guillory's books, you will like this one! And if you want to branch out, definitely do!
