Let me just start by saying I loved the interracial relationship in this book. You don't see it in many books to it made this one special. The relationship that developed that so cute and adorable. I loved their meeting and every chapter after that. I think that the cover was perfect for the book.
One thing I found frustrating was the constant inner voices that doubted the relationship at every turn. Every little thing that was said the other would doubt it. But will all that said. It was honestly pretty accurate in real relationships. I guess after so many chapters with the same things.
I did love the main character. She was such a strong and loving character to read. I loved her attitude but also venerability.
