Alexa and Drew are trapped in a hotel elevator when the power unexpectedly goes out. They quickly get to know each other as Drew explains how he’s in town for the wedding of his ex-girlfriend and college roommate. The problem is he RSVP’d with a plus one and doesn’t have one. Just as they are set to go their separate ways, Drew asks Alexa to be his date for the wedding. Alexa attempts to back out several times.
I think this sounds like a great read and I look forward to reading what happens next? Do Alexa and Drew become a couple? Do they have a happily ever after?
