I adored The Wedding Date. It has diversity and a meet cute beginning. There is great banter and the humor was done just right. Alexa is completely lovable and relatable and Drew was clueless but also adorable, especially when jealous. I was surprised at how steamy the book was though the scenes were mostly fade to black. The sex scenes do show relationship development. The characters do have a surprisingly amount of frequent flier miles or money to spend on flights. The characters did spend a lot of time eating in the book. Overall, I enjoyed the story despite any flaws. The characters were lovable and the writing was engaging. I am so excited Carlos will be the main character in the author’s next book.
