I normally don't read many romance books so it's totally weird that I've read so many lately. Romance binge? >u<
This book was super cute. A short summary: girl meets guy in elevator. Guy has recently broke up with girlfriend so needs a date to a wedding (not to mention it's the wedding of one of his friends to one of his ex girlfriends. Totes awkward). On impulse, guy asks girl to be his date. They fall in love and stuff happens.
I loved Alexa. Now I know I say that about a lot of characters, but how can you not love a grown woman whose donut of choice is glazed with rainbow sprinkles??? And she is so lovely independent, I aspire to be like that.
I wasn't as in love with Drew, but overall it was a great book.
The best romance novels are when you just wanna slap both of the main leads and sit them down together in one room without a door so they can sort out their feelings. But at the same time, the main characters are your babies who you want to just squeeze and love. No? Just me? Okay. ^ ^
