Guillory’s first novel is a fun, quick, and joyful foray into the modern romance genre. Despite a predictable plot and resolution that I could spot from around page thirty-five, I found it difficult to put this one down. The shift in point of view between our two main characters kept things moving and provided great insight into each of their personalities. While I enjoyed this on my couch, I would have loved it on a plane or poolside. It would also be a great beach read!

The voice Guillory gives to her characters is fresh and fun. No surprise, however, she writes better from a feminine perspective than a masculine one. I enjoyed her use of the 'Stuck Together' trope, which makes way for a very fun meet-cute.

I’d recommend it for anyone into romance, and definitely for anyone looking to explore the genre for the first time. It's a good time!
