I’ve seen some mixed reviews for this one, but I can definitely say this one was not for me. It was a cute set up for a story. Classic rom com. However, I found both characters to be unlikeable. I really wanted to like Alexa, but I found her insecurities to just be too much. I also didn’t like that the author skipped over all the “sexy” parts. I mean, it doesn’t have to be x rated, but you have to give me something! The way she wrote it, going from the build up to it suddenly being over was just odd.

If you want a light, cutesy, summer read and you don’t like a lot of steamy romance, then you might enjoy this one more than I did. I know a lot of readers really enjoyed this one, so I would suggest giving it a chance if you’re looking for a romance.
