I loved this book from the first chapter. The two main leads had great chemistry that kept all of their interactions really interesting and fun. I really liked how much the plot revolved around the lives that these two people already lived. Many books put the two characters into a bubble of just them two and ignore the lives they had separately. It was refreshing to see two adults be independent and happy with the jobs that they have; then go on to have a relationship together and make everything work. I also really liked the fact that this book has an interracial pairing and didn't gloss over the race factor of their relationship. It was very clearly addressed, not a main conflict, but it was most definitely written in a way that I think shows a lot of skill in a writer. Overall, I was very pleased with this book.
