I wanted to like this one so much more than I did. Sigh. I get that communication problems can be a real life issue for couples, but this topic was too repetitive for my liking in this book. Maybe you should learn after your first (or even second?) miscommunication? Again, I get what the author was going for. It was to create animosity, but there's other ways to go about it than using that same miscommunication trope over and over and over again. Redeeming points for fake dating though. I also admittedly read some of this series out of order (I read The Proposal first before I read this one), but I don't think that really changed how I felt about either book, to be honest. I'll keep trying with Jasmine Guillory, however, because I really want to love her books - they're all concepts I would usually love, but the execution just falls flat for me.
