Why'd I wait so long to read this book? It's been a long time since I read a contemporary romance like this. It's sweet, hot, and a lot of fun. I love the fact Alexa and Drew are are so attracted to one another and they way they slowly fall for each other, emotionally at least.
I also loved how Jasmine Guillory didn't shy away from issues relating to one of them being a person of color in the relationship. She wasn't pushy or even in your face about it. It's hard not to fall for Drew and Alexa and I can't wait to read more from Ms. Guillory. I would love to read about Dr. Carlos Iberra!
