I absolutely adored this book. First of all, the cover is so cute! It's so eye-catching and one of my favorites of Jasmine's books. Second, I love the romance between Alexa and Drew. I love dual-POV novels, and it really helped to get Drew's POV, since I definitely wouldn't have liked him as much if I wasn't able to get into his head. Alexa is a flawed, relatable heroine: she cares about her career, but it's hard for her to recognize her feelings before realizing that she's fallen fast for Drew.
My main qualm is that the hero and heroine frustrated me a lot. I got so invested in their choices and the story as a whole, so sometimes it felt weirdly paced and plotted. However, I absolutely devoured this book, so this comes from a whole lot of time thinking about the novel. It doesn't change that I obsessed over this book and all the other books in this universe.
