I really enjoyed this novel! I normally do not read much romance, but I’m so glad I discovered this book! The characters were so believable and relatable. I feel like many women and men can relate to this book.
One thing I really enjoyed about the book besides the plot, was that the reader was allowed into the thoughts of both characters. Guillory included alternating paragraphs with their thoughts.
The plot was very well laid out and was easy to follow. Nothing was left unanswered.
I felt as if this wasn’t your typical love story! I loved that the novel was about an interracial couple. I don’t feel as if background determines love and I feel that the author really proved this point.
I will certainly be reading more from this author!
