This book was my first read by Jasmine Guillory and I'm so glad I discovered it! I think I read the first four books in The Wedding Date series in a matter of a week. Her books are easy to read, but she does such a great job of drawing readers in and developing characters and romance storylines.
In this book we meet Alexa, as well as her sister and her best friends, and Drew and his best friend. I enjoyed meeting all of these characters in the first book because it makes reading the rest of the series so much more fun. I loved Alexa's badass character, but I also enjoyed seeing her vulnerability. Guillory does a great job of telling the story of how Alexa and Drew fall in love and eventually come into a relationship together.
This is a series I plan to read over again because they are perfect reads when you just need a bit of romance and joy in your life.
