I love a good romcom and this was no different for me! I’ve read a couple other @jasminepics books and loved all of them so far!! (I really enjoy that I can read them out of order. 😂) I love series where the characters cross over and you get to catch up with some of your favorites. It’s like revisiting old friends. ☺️
This book had everything you need in a good romcom - it’s funny, sweet, and adorable. It is predictable, but I feel like that’s expected given the plot. I also REALLY like that it has an interracial couple. They discuss some of the struggles in their relationship/past relationships/lives/etc and it always helps me to see things in a new way.
Jasmine Guillory has a way of writing that feels like I’m talking with an old friend. It’s comfortable and exciting. I want to know what is going to happen next. I want to know more about the characters.
