I am not really a romance/beach reads reader, so this was totally out of my comfort zone, but it was absolutely perfect for my weekend of sitting in the sun by the pool. The romance is so fun and convincing and sexy. I was rooting for Alexa and drew the entire time. And dare I say I, myself, had a little crush on Drew as well. It is fun and flirty, albeit a bit expected/predictable, but utterly enjoyable. Alexa is such a fun character to follow and so relatable in so many ways. I loved her strength and how unique she was. She was totally her own person. Thinking about this books makes smile. It definitely stuck with me. The only reason for my three stars is that it is not a genre I typically go for, and probably wouldn’t think to recommend it, but I want that 3 to be a 3.5!
