I love Jasmine Guillory, I started reading her books with The Proposal and finally picked up the first book in this series The Wedding Date. It started off so cute from the first page and I can’t wait to go home and keep reading. I loved the representation for a main character with a curvy body and the interracial relationship, and long distant relationship challenged that were very realistic for the characters to work through. I didn’t always love how Drew was a stereotypical way too confident successful doctor at first but he did have a great character arc that redeemed some of his jerkish choices. I especially enjoyed the fake dating trope and how their relationship evolved throughout the story. I love romance books with some steam, and this one is definitely not closed door steam, but on a meter of 1-5 I would say it’s about a 3. Definitely recommend
