Im no longer forcing myself to read books that dont bring me joy, there are too many actual good books in the world. The writing was immature and cringey, It read like a high schoolers journal not a novel. Im genuinely curious how this author got a whole series published. this book was terrible. The characters sucked and read as the most childish group of people I have ever read. I actually went and returned this book and the next in the series because it was so terrible. The writing wasn't much better. It was third person but I felt so lost i had to keep re-reading things. Im someone who reads fairly quickly and this took me almost a week to get through a few chapters. Don't waste your money, don't waste your time, don't pick up another book by this author every again. Oh and I do not understand how this is a series that is still going. Who is buying these books??
