I did my reading kind of backwards and read the Proposal before the Wedding Date. I did actually like this book better. Alexa and Drew had the perfect meet cute in an elevator at a hotel where he asks her to be his date to his ex’s wedding. I really enjoyed this book a lot! The reason I didn’t give it five stars is the fact that 99% of the book was them fighting the idea of a real relationship, even though they obviously had deep feelings for each other! I am all for a “playing hard to get” slow burn but sometimes I found Alexa and Drew to be sooo difficult. They obviously has feelings for each other and then kept breaking up. I felt like it kind of dragged on at times and I wish the ending would have happened sooner!
