Do you believe in fate? Do you believe that when you meet “the One”, you’ll just know?

A chance power outage forces Alexa and Drew to meet in a stopped elevator. On a whim, he invited her to be his date to his ex’s wedding that weekend. With nothing else to do than escort the ridiculously handsome doctor, she obliges...

Despite trying to convince themselves otherwise, both are quickly sucked into feelings neither was prepared for as they attempt a long-distance fling (because neither will call it a relationship).

But let me tell you... I didn’t want to put this down! Not only was the story great, the writing was steamy without being overly descriptive or detailed. There are many great lessons and themes in here with the couple being inter-racial. Many things my friends and I have discussed, but I’ve never read in books.

This book has made me a true fan of Jasmine Guillory and I am so glad I own the whole series!!
