This was my first Jasmine Guillory novel, but definitely not my last! This novel started with a very cute 'meet cute' in an elevator. Drew and Alexa meet in a most improbable way, and Alexa quickly becomes Drew's date to a wedding that he really doesn't want to attend. Drew and Alexa are both high powered professionals who try to navigate this new relationship in a long distance way. Overall this is a light, cute contemporary romance. There wasn't a lot of depth to the characters, and there was a lot of discussion of their meals, and food and what they were eating which got a little tiresome after a while. Generally, I would recommend this for a nice quick beach read for anyone who enjoy contemporary romance. Drew and Alexa had great chemistry, but the story could have a gone a little further with a little more depth to their relationship and character.
