In The Wedding Date, two strangers got stuck in an elevator together and our main character agrees to go to a wedding with the man she meets in the elevator. She pretends to be his girlfriend for the wedding because the wedding he is attending is a situation that would be very uncomfortable to attend as a single man, due to the connection he has with the bride and groom. Of course they end up falling in love, as is to be expected. I did like the characters together, but I didn't feel like the conflicts that arose in their relationship were very good ones, and more based on misunderstandings which is always very frustrating to me. I hate when conflict could be resolved if the characters would stop being stubborn and just tell each other how they feel.
