The writing in this book was nice. It flowed really well and sucked me into the story easily. The plot was predictable and everything I expected. The characters were lovable and great, showing their insecurities which quite honestly made them super easy to identify with. Overall, I liked the book. I enjoyed it every time I picked it up to read it. The reason it got only 3 stars was because of its predictability. There wasn’t really anything new or exciting brought into the story. I did like that the book centered around an interracial couple and that it wasn’t made out to be an absolutely perfect relationship from the beginning though. I also really want to know what happened with the kid. That was never resolved.
