I fell in love with Jasmine’s writing. It’s your typical romcom setting and yet more BELIEVABLE than other books. Girl meets boy, begin their strictly casual hook ups, and BOOM someone catches feelings. This was such a light giddy read for me and brought butterflies to my stomach whenever it switched POV’s. The entire story plot just rolled smoothly and didn’t have you wondering why a certain chapter/section was even written. Every character just fit perfectly into their place! Toast to Drew and Alexa, no pun intended. I love that Guillory had a different cast of characters. I love seeing biracial relationships in books. There were also so many social issues brought up. It felt authentic! Overall, I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great contemporary romance book!
