The is a story about love blossoming from the strangest places. Two strangers, Alexa and Drew, were taking the same elevator when it broke down, prompting them to have a heart-to-heart. Within this heart-to-heart, we learn part of Drew's backstory, and this leads to Drew asking Alexa to be his wedding date.
This book is off to a fantastic start. The writing was intricate and delicate. I adore the interracial love brewing in this story. I loved the characters, especially Alexa because her personality is truly inspirational. Drew is the kind of guy that everyone wishes they had because he is charming and quirky. In the first few pages, I hoped we got to learn more about Olivia's character, but I guess she will be more developed throughout the book. I cannot wait to read more!!
