Romance has never been my genre, so I was never going to swoon over this book, but I liked the premise since it mirrored my own life experiences with having an LA-SF long distance relationship.
Unfortunately, I can't say I really enjoyed the read. It felt pressured into trying to be cute without any real substance. From what we were given to read, my guess is that it will turn out to be cotton candy - pretty to look at and sweet for a mouthful, but in the end just unsatisfying. That said, I hope that it settles down and gets better further in, because it was a good premise.
My rating is 2.5, bumped up to a 3 for premise, a nice cover and hopes of the story improving past what I read.
