This book is really good. It is disturbing in so many ways. Made me think a lot about our society and how women are treated. The main character is so relatable and I immediately cared about her. This story made me appreciate my life. I use to be very interested in polygamy in America because I was so surprised that women were being treated and raised this way in modern America. This book reminded me a lot of the books I read on that subject. It had me feeling emotional throughout the whole story. It made me angry, heart broken, glad, and so many other things. I expected this book to be a dystopian so I was surprised that it wasn’t. This shines the light on cults and encourages young women to think about the way they are being treated. I really enjoyed this book.
