I really loved this one! Ava was such an interesting character and felt extremely relatable. Her quirks added so much depth. I thought I knew where the story was heading, but I was completely shocked by the end. I really enjoyed the writing style and flow of the story, and overall, I highly recommend.
I was truly expecting this to be a light-hearted romantic comedy, but I was pleasantly surprised by the complete twist at the end. Things seemed to be going so well for Ava and Mat early on, and I was a bit confused as to how the story might continue since the relationship seemed perfect. I loved how we found out bits and pieces about the darker truth, and I was completely hooked.
One of my favorite pieces of the story was going back and forth in time to get glimpses of Ava's past as it relates to the accident. The ending was truly shocking for me, and the moment when she discovered the truth was especially well-written. I also loved reading the scene at the party/warehouse at the end. I was able to visualize everything extremely well and it definitely held my attention.
