The introduction to a minimalist character peeked my interest because I sometimes aspire to that life but know deep down I could never achieve the lifestyle. Also the not inviting interactions aspect of Ava's personality is extremely relatable for me. I'd read this book for Ava's character alone. I'm sensing an underlying theme with the title of the novel and Ava's furniture idea of The Very Nice Box having something to do with how things should be fitting a certain way and follow a certain for Ava but that changes with the additiong of this Mat character? Maybe?
