I didn't have high expectations for this excerpt, based on the description of the novel overall, but it was way more engaging than I'd thought it would be. I appreciated the constant satirical skewering of modern "friendly" corporations and the cult-like quality of working there. It's a bit TOO on the nose for me, frankly.
