Intense dystopian with twist of romance.
I was entranced by this book from the beginning and I couldn’t put it down. The world building, the concept of the story, and the intense scenes were a pleasant surprise. There was some drama I had an idea was going to happen, but then I’d get hit by something I wasn’t anticipating.
I did enjoy the characters, the way that the two main characters developed together, and the creative ways the author made up the world for them to live them. I’m not entirely sure how the science worked in the revivals, but I did enjoy the book. I did get confused in the beginning between the two character POVs, but it cleared up well so I could enjoy the book. If you’re a fan of a nail biting dystopian science fiction with a hint of romance, this is for you.
