This is was a unique and interesting world. I love how it talks about global warming taking over the old world. I thought the science in this book was pretty interesting. I loved how she incorporated the old world and the new world together. I honestly thought this book was gonna be completely different than how it really was. I just pictured something different but I loved the world she made and everything else. I think this book would be enjoyed by anyone. Its such a quick read and really pulls you in. The characters were complex and diverse. You really connected with them and really feel for them. Lor was such guilt ridden character and wasn't living. He just hid away from everything and everybody. Tempe really guared herself and didnt let anyone in. You really wanted nothing but happiness for these characters because so much stuff they'd been through. The different POVs really helped the story. Life and death was a big theme in this book. It really made you appreciate what you have and just live life to the fullest. Scholte has the coolest worlds, best twists and excellent writing. I'm super excited for everyone to read this book when it comes out.
