This was an intriguing novel that I devoured as quickly as I possibly could because I needed to know what would happen next. This was a beautiful post-apocalyptic world of ocean. The characters felt alive and the story was moving and thrilling. I will be reading more from this author. Tempe has finally saved up enough notes to bring her sister back from the dead for 24 hours so she can finally find out what really happened to her parents when they died. Lor is just trying to help his friend and covers to revival. Both of them are embarking on an adventure they could never imagine. This book made me laugh and cry and I find myself revisiting the world in my head now that it’s over. Challenging death comes with consequences and the question of who will pay them is one that will you have on the edge of your seat.
