This was an enjoyable YA book. The story is told from two viewpoints: a 17 year old who wants to bring her sister back for the purpose of learning how their parents died and possibly punishing her because she believes (for no apparent reason) that the sister was the cause of their death simply because she'd been there when it happened, and a guy, whose age I don't recall but must be similar, who has spent two years hiding in the basement of a research facility because he feels so guilty about living while his friend died after he pushed his friend to go cliff climbing on a stormy day.

The story was interesting and entertaining. I was frustrated by the love angle, which is not unusual for me; I just find it exhausting that authors see two characters of the opposite sex and are like..you know what they should do? Kiss!

But there were plenty of fun twists and turns to compensate. I would recommend this story for any age reader ready to discuss the concept of death.
