Tempe’s world was destroyed hundreds of years ago. Her parents were killed. Her mission is daily dives through the ruins searching for anything of value, in order to trade for notes. Not to buy clothing, food, medicine. There is a research facility that will revive the dead for twenty four hours, and Tempe wants answers from her dead sister. She is willing to pay the price to finally have resolution and answers to her parents’ unexplained deaths. Once revived, her sister doesn’t want to spend her twenty four hours locked in a room. She convinces Tempe to break her out of the facility. What happens to them as they are hunted down by employees of the facility and they find out what really happens during the process of revival, and the true cost of restored life?
