This seems like an absolutely amazing premise for a book! Tempe is living in an island world caused by some sort of flooding, and she's diving for trinkets. The world with it's skeletons below are described wonderfully
Then we see the facility where bodies are stored and they can be brought back for goodbyes ... Or other things. This is what Tempe wants to do to her sister and I want more of it! What brought the society to this!? It's a great idea and I'm intrigued
