I think I just don't like this author's style of writing. I didn't really enjoy her first book, Four Dead Queens, and I'm not enjoying this one. Tempest's chapters, in particular, are just so boring and the author is just having Tempest regurgitate all this worldbuilding info at me. It's not done in an organic way and my eyes just keep glazing over. I do really like the premise but the execution just isn't working for me.
