The cover art is very striking and piqued my curiosity early on. The Vanishing Deep is the story of seventeen-year-old Tempe, who lost her sister Elysea way too early. Because her sister died with the secret of their parents' deaths, Tempe will do whatever it takes to revive her. The world in which Tempe lives is interesting, as her society has had to adapt to living after the Great Wave destroyed whole cities. I would seek this book out, either from the library or my local bookstore.
