I'm so glad I managed to get a copy of this book. I was blown away with how much I loved this book. There is so much complexity to this novel and the characters in it. At the soul of the novel is the French family, Bill, Jason and Gibby. The family gets tangled up in a murder and missing persons case. I found myself getting so angry with how Bill and Gabrielle treated their son (Jason). Bill grows and changes his views on Jason through the novel and as he learns about what happened to Jason during his time in the war. I loved Gibby's dedication to his older brother and in proving his innocence. The novel can get dark at times, especially when X and Reece are involved. Reece is a pretty sick individual. The book didn't go into gore which is good, but you could get a picture of what had happened to Tyra and others. Overall, I really enjoyed myself reading this book and I would highly recommend it! Please read this book! As the back of the book said "John Hart can write!"
