I've never read anything by John Hart, but I can promise myself I’ll definitely be looking for more of his books that pique my interest!
The book made me realize that the author knows JUST how to develop a character... I felt like I knew the family personally! The storyline between the brothers kept me wanting to read more and more of the book, causing me to take the book with me wherever I went, and not wanting to put it down.
I actually loved the shorter chapters and, while the story did it itself on its own, the short chapters kept me going on reading much longer than I probably would have with shorter chapters.
The entire storyline just had me in awe - Hart truly is, as Harlan Coben put it - a master storyteller. You never knew how the next chapter was going to turn out, let alone how the end of the book was going to turn out.
Definitely 100% recommend and I know I'll be looking for more Hart novels to add to my TBR!
