The first look for The Unwilling makes it seem like it will be a highly emotional ride. It may be crime fiction, but the family dynamic that is written in the first couple chapters already made me feel a plethora of emotions. The cover is a cliff that makes an appearance in the first look and I have a feeling that it is going to be a constant theme of the book. A tie the main characters have to their deceased brother. All in all this first look is well written and I think the start of what could be a great period crime drama.
