I definitely don't think I'll be picking up a copy of this book in June, but that's more a matter of personal taste than quality of the book. Even though I was confused as to why the the author chose to switch between first person and third person narration, dependent on whether Gibby was present in the scene, there was nothing inherently wrong with this sneak peak. Just not my taste, and I'm sure someone else out there is going to drink this right up.
