Harriet Tubman aka Moses is a name everyone recognizes for her contributions to free slaves. I love historical fiction and this fits right into that genre. Reading thr blurb and the first chapter, I am captivated into learning more about this woman and how she was betrayed by many but was courageous enough to forego what she felt was right without losing herself. How a woman can give up her child so that the child can have a free life and not lose herself mentally? How the man she was married to could remarry and leave her with heart break? How can she trust people in general when the ones she has betrayed her in different ways? I want to keep exploring this story of a woman on a mission and feel the emotion of what she has gone through.
