This is a must read in my opinion. More often than not women in wartime and the role they played including heroic efforts and brave actions fall into the background. I am truly fascinated by Harriet Tubman and her fearlessness. The Civil War was a dark time in the history of this country which should never be forgotten. I am excited she is being honored this way and I am compelled to add this book to my wishlist. I recently moved to South Carolina and it would make me feel closer to history reading this book.
