Enemies to lovers
I feel like I need to preface this by saying that I can't stand cheesy Hallmark Christmas movies. I just cannot handle the ooey, gooey, cheesy and unbelievable love stories. With that said, I enjoyed this book a lot. One of my favorite book tropes is enemies to lovers and this one really delivered that for me.
The chemistry between the two main characters was believable and I was rooting for them. The steamy scenes were done well and overall I was happy with the romance aspects of the story.
I hadn't realized before starting this book was that it's the second book in a series. I don't think that should affect other new readers though. This read like a standalone but did interest me in the other books in the series.
Overall I recommend this book for anyone looking for a cute holiday romance.
