All I Want For Christmas... is This Book!
Confession: I am NOT a fan of romance books. But The Trouble With Christmas is everything I never knew I wanted in a romance novel. This book could easily be a steamy version of a Hallmark Christmas movie. It has all the typical, cheesy tropes: a handsome yet broody male lead, a fake relationship that turns enemies into lovers, and a (spoiler!) grand gesture at the end!
Suzanne wants nothing more than a cheesy Christmas... something that she wont get if she returns to New York to spend the holidays with her family. In an attempt to avoid her family's lackluster holiday, she tells her parents she is spending the holiday with her rancher boyfriend who LOVES Christmas. There's just one thing wrong... Grady HATES Christmas and is definitely NOT her boyfriend. When her parents decide to come to her, Suzanne finds herself digging herself into an increasingly big hole as her fake relationship scheme gets complicated.
If you are a fan of the cheesy Christmas movies Hallmark is notorious for, then this book is 100% for you. Amy Andrew's does a fantastic job at incorporating laughs with this steamy romance.
