This book is fine for what it is, I guess, but I can't imagine who would bother to read this. It's so cliche! Hot, rough rancher meets hot, soft artist. He doesn't want anything to do with her, but neither can stop thinking about the other. Blech.
That being said, this book is written just fine. I found some word choices odd, but other than that, the author is doing a good job of describing everything. I'm just not sure it isn't anything that's been written before, and it obviously serves no purpose in the grander scheme of things. It's like a fantasy novel written for adults who think they don't believe in magic.
